| Time Scale for ordering | |
| Wedding cakes require a 6 months notice period, any wedding cakes required sooner please phone to confirm availability before placing your order. | |
| All Occasions cakes must be ordered atleast 2 - 3 weeks in advance, last minute orders within 7 days prior to your event will incur a further £10 fee. | |
| Cupcake orders can be placed up to 2 days prior to your event. | |

| What is your payment policy? | |
| A non-refundable £100 deposit is required to reserve wedding orders and the remainder of the balance due a minimum of 14 days prior to your wedding. Wedding balances are fully refundable provided 3D Cakes are notified a minimum of 1 month before your wedding. | |
| All other cake orders must be paid in full at time of order. Occassions cakes payments are non-refundable. | |

| Design/Tasting Appointments | |
| 3D Cakes have won the VOWS Award for best cake designer in scotland for the last 2 years, we reflect this in the design of new wedding cakes personalised for you. | |
| We charge no fee for our consultation appointments as we are confident that our cake design and the high quality of our cake samples can not be beaten. | |

| Do you deliver? |
|
| Delivery is available thoughout the UK. To garentee the quality of our products we dont use a courier service for orders within the UK, we personally deliver our cakes ourselves. | |
| Shipping is available but dependent on cake required. | |
| Delivery fees are calculated by distance traveled and are roughly 50p per mile.
| |
| While it is generally not a problem for clients to transport smaller cakes, self-transporting any cake is at your own risk. 3D Cakes does not recommend clients self-transport 3D/sculptural cakes, cakes over 2 tiers tall, or any cake more than 3 hours and is not responsible for any damage that may occur to any client-transported cake once it has left our store. | |

| General Cake Information |
|
We offer a range of 27 delicious flavours, this can be found under any cake gallery picture. All types of sponges contain a layer of fresh buttercream. |
| To ensure our cakes also remain moist we also add a thin layer of white almond marzipan designed for sponges. (For any customer preferring no marzipan we can offer double icing instead to ensure your cake remains moist and at a high quality). |

3D Cakes will make every effort to ensure all aspects of the required design are followed exactly, however 3D Cakes hold the artistic licence to adjust any design (if felt necessary to improve or help the stability of the cake) by the head designer.
